Taken a few days ago in both Big Cottonwood Canyon and the Alpine Loop Scenic Byway. The 20-mile drive through the American Fork Canyon is one of the most picturesque I can remember in recent years.
Getting up early the last few days, I've noticed the morning air has turned cool and crisp. The sun – weary from rising early in the long summer days – has grown laxed and idled, choosing to remain in the mountainside, which is now flecked with bright autumn hues.
